What Film (Movie) Have You Just Watched?

Not a movie but a TV series.

"Who is America?" Sacha Baron Cohen, you know the guy whose middle name, Trump named his youngest son for.

I have two opinions on this series having just seen the first two episodes.

1./ Great humour, easily some of Cohen's best work.

2./ Cavanami, if you watch this, remove any guns or rock-like objects, from the room first, else you'll be needing a new TV.

Mission Impossible - Fallout (2018)

Ethan Hunt and his IMF team, along with some familiar allies, race against time after a mission gone wrong.

Plenty of action, Ethan Hunt doing the impossible and his support team having his back.

Some twists and turns.

Good watch!

10x10 (2018)

Lewis (Luke Evans) is an outwardly ordinary guy, but in reality he is hiding an obsession - revenge - against Cathy (Kelly Reilly). Lewis kidnaps Cathy in broad daylight and takes her to his home, where he locks her in a soundproof cell and attempts to extract a dark secret from her past.

A gripping thriller. You never know is this guy off his rocker? he keeps digging but...

A good watch!

I just saw this one tonight.

The "major" plot twist was obvious, painfully so.

On the other hand, the movie won the coveted Crazy Farang Award for Best Visual Gag, with the British getaway helicopter's registration code: G-DEUP.

Giddi-yup!

Shock and Awe (2017)

A group of journalists covering George Bush's planned invasion of Iraq in 2003 are skeptical of the president's claim that Saddam Hussein has "weapons of mass destruction."

Stars:Woody Harrelson, James Marsden, Rob Reiner

Good movie. We can see how the media follows the government narrative and the ones resisting, Knight Ridder journalists, ended up being correct as they didn't accept the lies of the government....now 2018, here we are again with many people accepting the BS from the media...ever learn from history....

Walk Like A Panther [2018]

UK comedy pays homage to the 70s Saturday afternoon ITV wrestling show long since gone with the feel of The Full Monty which makes it worth seeing if only out of curiosity, but never really hits the sweet spot to be any good - the trailer is the better than the movie.
