The Girl in the Spider's Web: A New Dragon Tattoo Story (2018)

Young computer hacker Lisbeth Salander and journalist Mikael Blomkvist find themselves caught in a web of spies, cybercriminals and corrupt government officials.

Stars:

Claire Foy, Beau Gadsdon, Sverrir Gudnason

This is the fourth in the Stieg Larsson series of the tattoo girl series.
He was a good writer as I had read his three books and the three movies closely followed the books. This fourth movie is a good watch.

Get Me Roger Stone (2017)

A documentary exploring the life and career of notorious Republican dirty trickster and longtime Trump adviser, Roger Stone, who helped create the real estate mogul's political career.

Stars:

Roger Stone, Donald Trump, Paul Manafort

Quite revealing of the goings on in Washington, DC. This doco only looks at one side of the problem and dollars to donuts, the
other side has plenty of their own sleeze balls.

The 12th Man 2018 German/Norwegian/English subtitles

Harrowing physical adventure “The 12th Man” retells the story of Jan Baalsrud, the sole survivor of a thwarted Allied sabotage mission against the Nazis in occupied Norway. Wounded, hunted, often near-death, his long but ultimately successful escape to Sweden was already dramatized onscreen in 1957’s “Ni Liv” aka “Nine Lives,” an Oscar nominee considered one of the greatest Norwegian features ever made. (More recently it was also the subject of documentary miniseries “In the Footsteps of Jan Baalsrud.”) (Variety Film News)

Viscerally good - 5/5 stars

American Chaos (2018)

A man searches for answers to Donald Trump's widespread support before the 2016 presidential election.

This doco done by a butt hurt California Dem that has his eyes opened and now understands the desperation that was boiling over in the USA.
He went to coal country USA and talked at length with the citizens living on the border with Mexico.

Unbroken: Path to Redemption (2018)

When the war ended, his battle began. Based on Laura Hillenbrand's bestselling book, UNBROKEN: PATH TO REDEMPTION begins where Unbroken ends, sharing the next amazing chapter of Olympian and World War II hero Louis Zamperini's powerful true story of forgiveness, redemption, and amazing grace.

Good movie that empathizes PTSD and the damage it does.
