Days Of Heaven [1978]
Only just got around to seeing this, following the recent passing of Ennio Morricone who created the music, this is perhaps an almost perfect movie by Terrence Malik, a visually stunning period love triangle drama set on an early 1900s Texas farm ranch, a movie that stands the test of time.

LBJ (2016)

Lyndon B. Johnson aligns himself with John F. Kennedy, rises to the Presidency, and deals with the civil rights struggles of the 1960s.

Stars:Woody Harrelson, Michael Stahl-David, Richard Jenkins

Director:Rob Reiner
Who played it very safe with this movie.

A very brief overview of LBJ as he became president. The movie did not get in to the real LBJ person and zero on his involvement in the JFK murder.

D-Day Normandy 1944 (2014)

June 6, 1944: The largest Allied operation of World War II began in Normandy, France. Yet, few know in detail exactly why and how, from the end of 1943 through August 1944, this region became the most important location in the world. Blending multiple cinematographic techniques, including animation, CGI and stunning live-action images, "D-Day: Normandy 1944" brings this monumental event to the world's largest screens for the first time ever. Audiences of all ages, including new generations, will discover from a new perspective in breathtaking IMAX (R) how this landing changed the world. Exploring history, military strategy, science, technology and human values, the film will educate and appeal to all. Narrated by Tom Brokaw, "D-Day: Normandy 1944" pays tribute to those who gave their lives for our freedom... A duty of memory, a duty of gratitude.

A good movie relating the events of D-day.

The Adderall Diaries [2015]
Based on the real life memoir, tells the story of a writer with a penchant for Adderall who hits a low when his father resurfaces to straighten out some past childhood truths. There's two other background stories of a love interest and another of a well known Linux file programmers murder trial that makes the movie a little disjointed but overall passable viewing.

Come As You Are [2019]
Feel good US road trip movie that works for the most part, based on a true story and a Belgium movie remake where three guys with physical disabilities go to a brothel catering to special needs people to loose their virginity.

I once saw a guy, with burns all over his face and torso be received at a Thai knock shop - several of the pretties were competing, to help the guy out...

Genuine concern, hearts of gold.

American Wisper (2020)

In June 2016, a loving family was found shot to death at their suburban home in Northern New Jersey, and discovered by father and husband Josiah Wisper - a brash businessman who owned bars, restaurants and real estate in Harlem, New York.

A hard hitting movie based on a true story. No happy ending.

Inmate #1: The Rise of Danny Trejo (2019)

Having spent much of his early life in prison, actor Danny Trejo discusses his career and how he has overcome a life of crime and addiction.

If you have seen him in the many movies he has done and you liked his acting, then you will enjoy a look at his life story.
