6 Episodes, based on  "MARVEL" and don't you forget it it, comics.

The quality of the actors make this a very good series, I found that the "Super Hero" bits detracted, from the excellent bits that had actors acting.

Well worth a watch, particularly for Oscar Isaac

In what could've been good, the actors look like they should be there, the story is weak, the execution pale, and in general, don't bother.

The Bannen Way  2010

A slick, sexy, action-packed show about Neal Bannen, a charming con-man with a police chief for a father, a mob boss for an uncle and a weakness for beautiful women, who wants to turn his life around and leave the criminal lifestyle forever.

Not as slick as they might have liked, each of the anti hero gangsters, has just a little too much style, much as I suppose the real life kind, might wish for.

Still an entertaining watch, particularly for Vanessa Marcil  a cutie of the first order.

Polish, English subtitles.

An interesting look at a Polish village, with history, from WWII, the brothers play well off each other and the end is worth waiting for.

Dr. Jekyll, unable to stop himself from transforming into the murderous Mr. Hyde, wants his attorney to secure him a speedy trial, a guilty verdict and a quick execution.

Modern retelling, different perspective, rainy day movie.

Well told and acted, engrossing, even a bit part for the character of Fleming (007 author)

Ricky Gervais: SuperNature [2022]

TV Special of the comedian with his signature black humor doing stand up on stage at the London Palladium. Takes on the rules of comedy with amusing self-mockery of everyone easily offended. Comedy doesn't always travel, and this, whilst a good laugh, along the lines of his Golden Globes hosting but more vulgar, comes over as a little lazy and juvenile. Worth seeing when the mood suits.
