What Film (Movie) Have You Just Watched?

Recommended Posts

"The Spy Who Dumped Me" - OK, this was just FUN.  It trotted out EVERY LAST ONE of the known spy movie cliche's, and it still managed to wind up being fun to watch.

"Casablanca" - Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, if memory serves me.  No matter how many times I see this one, I still enjoy it, every time.  It is arguably the best movie ever made.

The Green Book [2018]

Feel good road movie about a talented colored musician who hires and Italian immigrant tough as his driver for a tour of America racist south during the 60s. Well acted out true story, albeit a little too Hollywood mush for some tastes.

Message Man

A retired assassin's past catches up with him and his brutality surfaces as he goes on a final killing spree to make things right.

Lots of action, blood and guts. An OK movie.

Tiger (2018)

A practicing Sikh is banned by the boxing commission for refusing to back down from his religious beliefs. Through racial profiling and stereotypical threats, he does what any strong American would do, fight back.

Interesting flick, a good watch.

Lean On Pete [2018]

Haunting tale of survival of a young teen with a troubled family background finding solace in an aging race horse. Never overly sentimental, superbly directed and acted, makes this one of the years best films.

Didn't know they still make B- movies..

Guns of the Apocalypse (2018)

In writer/director Christopher R. Mihm's "post-apocalyptic-spaghetti-Midwestern," a man with no name is forced into a world of danger and bloodshed after he saves a scientist and a gifted child from a horde of radiation-scarred mutants. Though he would prefer to stay hidden until he can escape to a new life, something about the child-and the murderous "Death Dealers" hunting her-makes him realize he has no choice but to protect her or risk being responsible for the potential extinction of the human race.

Maybe this was a high school project? So bad, couldn't stop watching it 555

Boy Erased [2018]
True story, making it all the more depressing, based on events at a church sexual orientation conversion program for homosexuals that the movie credits say still goes on to this day in certain US states.
