Dunno, my eye sight is not what it used to be.

The Big Hit (1998) - Mark Wahlberg, Lou Diamond Phillips, Christina Applegate, when they were all quite young. An amusing hitman kidnappping gone wrong, Christina's parents are quite funny. China Chow is quite arousing in her school girl outfit. An average movie, worth a watch.

Heathers. Always liked Christian Slater's work.

Like a young Jack Nicholson

Mechanic: Resurrection (2016) - If you haven't seen a Jason Statham movie, then this is a good one to wet your whistle - Jason Statham, Jessica Alba, Tommy Lee Jones, a reasonable effort by all involved. Lotsa fighting by Statham, he really is a super hero, with a really deep voice. Jessica is gorgeous, Tommy Lee Jones appears to be enjoying himself. Worth a watch.

Free state of Jones.

Found it a good movie with Matthew McConaughey acting real well, based on a true story

In 1863, Mississippi farmer Newt Knight serves as a medic for the Confederate Army. Opposed to slavery, Knight would rather help the wounded than fight the Union. After his nephew dies in battle, Newt returns home to Jones County to safeguard his family but is soon branded an outlaw deserter. Forced to flee, he finds refuge with a group of runaway slaves hiding out in the swamps. Forging an alliance with the slaves and other farmers, Knight leads a rebellion that would forever change history.

I watched Idiocracy (2006) and this movie is about a guy waking up 500 years into the future after having been frozen and finding that the populace had dumbed down a lot, quite a lot, he's easily the most clever man on the planet.

ย

The premise of this movie - someone waking up several hundred years in the future and finding that people have gotten much stupider due to an expanding population and a lack of evolutionary pressure - was previously used in "The Marching Morons", a short story written in 1951 by Cyril M. Kornbluth.

รขโ‚ฌโ€นTimely watch, considering the electoral shambles in the USA.

The Arrival (1996) - sci fi starring Charlie Sheen, playing a radio astronomer - not unpleasant - worth a watch
