He's told me several times that he doesn't believe Sirhan Sirhan did it. Sirhan may have been involved, but he wasn't the gunman. He also says the Warren Report is pure BS. As a Marine Corps combat vet and an longtime cop, he insists that even a blind man could tell that JFK was shot from the front, not the rear (where Oswald supposedly was). The wounds would be very different, if they had come from behind. (And I agree completely. I saw bullet wounds in RVN.) The Dallas MD who tried to save JFK says the same thing. He's stated that the drawings on display illustrating JFK's wounds and the bullets' trajectory are nothing like the ones he drew up. The doc says the small entry wound in JFK's throat was widened after the body left the hospital to make it look more like an exit wound.
