Coss
Bad Day at Black Rock (1955) - very good movie, particularly because of the 'names' in it. Spencer Tracy, Robert Ryan, Anne Francis, Dean Jagger, Walter Brennan, John Ericson, Ernest Borgnine, Lee Marvin. IMDB: A one-armed stranger comes to a tiny town possessing a terrible past they want to keep secret, by violent means if necessary.
cavanami
211 (2018) Bank heist movie in the vein of "End of Watch" meets "Black Hawk Down". For a Nick Cage movie, this was OK. ***
cavanami
The Mercy (2018) The incredible story of amateur sailor Donald Crowhurst and his solo attempt to circumnavigate the globe. The struggles he confronted on the journey while his family awaited his return is one of the most enduring mysteries of recent times. Took place in 1968/69 I don't remember the story back then. OK movie and quite the story. ***
cavanami
Revenge (2017) Never take your mistress on an annual guys' getaway, especially one devoted to hunting - a violent lesson for three wealthy married men. Much more to the story then the one liner from imdb. A gripping story. A few goofs, like having a scope on a shotgun...and a bit a fantasy but it seemed to moved along OK. ***
cavanami
Tomb Raider (2018) Lara Croft, the fiercely independent daughter of a missing adventurer, must push herself beyond her limits when she discovers the island where her father disappeared. After Angelina Jolie playing the original tomb raider, this latest version had some work to do to catch up. This version was set in a different era but it was an OK movie. Not a WOW movie but OK. ***
Coss
Revenge (2017) - IMDB - Never take your mistress on an annual guys' getaway, especially one devoted to hunting - a violent lesson for three wealthy married men. I liked this, but you'll have to believe that a petite hottie, can do all the war soldier stuff this one can, after being impaled on a tree. But, pull the, 'suspension of disbelief' lever and enjoy the blood and gore. Worth a watch. Coss
Accident Man (2018) - from IMDB - Mike Fallon, the Accident Man, is a stone cold killer whose methodical hits baffle the police and delight his clients. He is the best at what he does. But when a loved one is dragged into ... A refreshing take, on the hard man does martial arts and kills everyone, movies. And Canadian/British from the looks, Pinewood studios. I enjoyed this. Worth a watch

Palatkik
Professor Marston and The Wonder Women (2017) Interesting biopic on the origin of the Wonder Woman comic strip character created by a retired professor of psychology and his penchant for perverse sex and the truth that raised eyebrows at the time. The R rated screenplay is a little sugar coated for some tastes but well acted and not your usual super hero caper which makes it worth seeing.
