Hi,

Not heard that one before, Mekong. Not saying you are wrong of course, just doesn't ring a bell.

Sanuk!

I got this from my Thai Teacher Mrs M. Thais just say B.S. using Thai Pronunciation of the said letters. I have used it in meetings with Thai's and they fully understood that I was disagreeing with their comments.

ี Bee (Thai Pronunciation of English B)

อส Aeht (Thai Pronunciation of English S)

Thai transcription of the foreign loanword, "bullshit" is

ูลิ buun(M) chit(H) less rarely used

Per my expert:

Foy means "exaggerate" so not quite the same context that KS is looking for. It is considered a polite word. As noted by FM, it is not used much any more.

Ki Ju is the northern dialect for BS. Not polite.

Toh lae is probably the central dialect word(s) you are looking for. It is not polite.

Ki Moh is another central dialect word that is slightly more polite than Toh lae.

Hi,

"Toh lae is probably the central dialect word(s) you are looking for. It is not polite.

Ki Moh is another central dialect word that is slightly more polite than Toh lae."

Familiar with both of these words, but neither sum up what I think of when saying 'Bullshit'.

I guess the B.S. might be the closest.

Sanuk!
