Check the AIS Thai Web site and they'll give you some options.

I use my home moble as a roamer which is very reasonable

Lots of options...Just make sure the phone is on the AIS Thai list...Some GSM phone work better that others!

Hippie--

I think that AIS's One-2-call is an excellent system. When you run out of $$ you can still RECEIVE calls on your phone, (but you can't MAKE calls until buy more $$). The reception is average, not fantastic but not horrible either (depends on where you're calling from and the phone model you bought).

Overall, I give it very high marks. It's also a great way to help someone "control" their mobile phone expenses.

I've never had problems calling TO a 1-2 call phone either. For the current time OUTGOING international calls can't be make directly on the 1-2 call system. You can get one of those CAT cards and call that way though (calling a 1-800 #, PIN# and international number)...
