Caught this story on CNN this morning as I was packing to catch a flight out of LA. When we landed at Honolulu just a couple hours ago and taxied to our Gate, saw baggage workers outside the plane with full white face Masks - wondering what was going on realized they may have been wearing them because of this Flu! Checking CNN now that I'm home the Death count is already up to 81 (likely Flu Deaths) and now have cases in the US: Swine Flu
Sakai
Maybe, if it is not too late, the rest of the world should place the USA and Mexico in containment.

Long as they do it while I happen to be in Thailand at the time :content:

Sakai
NZ health minister Tony Ryall has anounced this Sunday that 25 NZ students coming back from a trip to Mexico have probably caught the flu. They have been placed in quarantine. Maybe too late now to close the borders.
Sakai
Now some suspected cases in Spain, New York, France and Israel. Maybe soon the new form of salutation will be: Did you travel to Mexico recently? Maybe this is the solution to the current and future world's surpopulation
Bangkoktraveler
Mexico has enough problems without this headache.
Sakai
True that Mexico really doesn't need this but if not managed carefully it could easily get out of hand in this third world country with a huge megalopole.
Flashermac
Saw a brief item about Obama having shaken hands with a guy who later died of swine flu. I remember getting anti-swine flu shots in the 1990s. This is probably a slightly different version and the vacinations might not work on it.
