Preferably not in bars ( I prefer to take girls to neutral ground so to speak) A lot of the places I've casually enquired at want silly money like 500++++ baht !!! I agree though, the wording could have been better! Anyway, Soi 6 (Soi Yodsak) is your best bet - not sure the prices there now, but a year ago is was about 600 for the girl and 200-300 for the room depending on the establishment.
