Have they fixed the elevator and escalator from ground level up to the skytrain at Silom station, or do you still get to climb the stairs?

I had occasion to be over that way some months back. I was photographing a temple a few stops away on the MRT, checked the map, and decided to see what Silom interchange looked like.

The stairway surprise was not fun.

I would say no.

There is no underground station at Nana so you would have to walk/taxi/take skytrain back to the Asoke junction to get on the MTR there, which I very much doubt is quicker than getting on the skytrain at Nana travelling for 3 stops to Siam and changing for the quick ride to Sala Daeng.

Concur with MM

If taking MRT to Silom the station is at junction of Rama IV / Silom so you still have a 5 minute walk to Patpong.

As a rule of thumb Nana-Patpong BTS, Cowbow-Patpong MRT, though why anyone would want to go to Nana nowadays is beyond me.
