WorldFun
so the 'meal coupon' is valid for 2 days right? any single day coupon available at all? food list is indeed very extensive!!!
preahko
Somewhat passable New Orleans-style food; barely-above-Taco-Bell quality "Mexican" food. If you do dine there, note that 10% gratuity (not to mention 7% VAT) is automatically included in every bill. DO NOT TIP!!
The_Munchmaster
I tried Bourbon Street quite a few times in the early to mid 90's but never took to it. Food I thought was average, atmosphere non existent and the bar staff some of the least attentive I have ever come across.
cavanami
They have (used to?) a buffet of the Mexican food on Tuesdays. Was 295 Baht ++ Not too bad if you can eat big.
The_Munchmaster
I've never been a fan of buffets, particularly ones with mediocre food. I'd much rather pay more for good food and food that I catually want. Also I'm not that big an eater so the appeal of lots of food doesn't work for me. cavanami
I hit the buffet twice in the last 10 years. It was about the best Mex food in BKK but now there are others to chose from. Not a bid eater here, so the buffet is a bit of a waste. The ++ grinds my gears, so yet another turn off for me.
Flashermac
That is the same amount added on in 5 star hotels. Apparently, Bourbon Street thinks its few rooms upstairs make it 5 star. On the other hand, I've bought drinks there on what were "dry days" everywhere else.
shygye
The other thing about buffets is that you can sample several different dishes instead of just seeing how much you can eat. I would like an Indian buffet with 20+ items so I can determine which dishes I like.
