Pescator
Gae à ¹Âà ¸Â, Very informal not particularly polite. But many country folks speaks Paasaa Baan and don`t give much thought about etiquette. I wouldn`t use it though. Generally thai pronouns are a mess IMO. As most don`t refer to a gender and some dont even distinquish between single and plural. Add to that many thai nicks are both male and female and there you go. Who the Heck are they actually referring to? Lon? Not familiar with that.
Flashermac
I presume male singers often use "chan" simply because it's easier to pronounce. My wife told me she hates to hear a man use it. "Lon" is heard in songs to refer to a woman in the third person. Almost never hear it in ordinary speech.
