passingthru69 Posted December 5, 2009 Report Share Posted December 5, 2009 Ok all you fellow construction guys, I have question. I just unloaded a cat. 992 K wheel loader to be sent to Thailand. Now this is one of the biggest units for wheel loaders that Cat. makes. Plus there are other big units going there. My question is where would they use this amount of big equipment in Thailand. I would like to be there when they off load it and show them pics. of how we hauled it in the states, plus go to the dealer who is getting it. MMG has a cooper mine at Sepon in Savanakhet province in Lao but very much doubt they would be using a 992 as they use very light fleet. unless its for the process plant. Also another gold mine getting going in isaan somehwere but don't know the details of it. if using to load in pit they would at least need 789 cat truck fleet whoever they are. Will look more Tues. at the port to see what all is going there. Maybe if I contact Metro they might fill me in some more. Just kind of courious. I leave the 21st for LOS.
