Ckrisg Posted January 7, 2010 Report Share Posted January 7, 2010 The UK is in the grip of its worst winter since 1963, buses, trains, trams and planes have been suspended, councils refuse to grit the roads or do anything of any use. Cars are abandoned, accidents abound, on Monday nothing moved in Manchester, no buses, no trams, no trains, no planes yet my local Kebab shop took my order at 5.35 and delivered on time at 6.15 from 4 miles away :nahnah: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dexi Posted January 7, 2010 Report Share Posted January 7, 2010 Saw the forecast today predicting temps could fall as low as -20 c.....There was a nice pic in one of the papers a couple of days ago of council workers out braving the elements...were they helping travellers or gritting the road - no,they were installing a speed hump.....LOL only in Britain....
