Taking her to the airport ..

Only once have I let a BG accompany me to the airport and that was years ago to Don Muang.

She was a little different than other BG's I'd had trysts with, as I'd exclusively spent nearly 2-months with her. Though a BG, she never seemed money hungry as she helped avoid my having to pay her BF, as well street scams and preferring food-stands to restaurants.

Me being confused by the system at Don Muang, I had her wait while I checked in with the airline and paid the exit fee. I soon discovered that I was now in the departure area and could not get back to the area where she was waiting. I told her of the problem via mobile. She had to buy a bus ticket to Ekkamai then onto Pattaya. She was not too thrilled. I guess I inadvertently avoided giving her some departure Baht

My girl always goes with me to the airport when I'm traveling alone. She's often traveling with me though and since I travel somewhere most months that's quite a bit. The only times she is not with me is when it's somewhere she either can't easily get a visa or I wouldn't consider having her suffer, think up country Bangladesh! When traveling alone she will come to see me off and be at the airport when I arrive. Since we are not together 24/7 it's just another way we spend time together. Of course it's not like I'm on a 2 week holiday and going home, though I'm sure some might see it that way I could care less. I enjoy her being there, both when I leave and when I get back.

Saw a couple of XXL chang singlet fashion models holding tightly to their connect 4 champions just before passport control. Probably Australian they had that look about them.

That's not how I remember Don Muang. AFAIK, buying the exit-fee ticket didn't bring you in the departure area. You had to get past customs first.

After buying the exit-fee ticket, I always walked back past the check inn counters and return to the open area. I always did so because I'm a smoker, and I hate to smoke in the glass boxes at the airport. I always went outside to light up another cigarette.

 

Back on subject, except for the first time I went to Thailand, I was always escorted back to the airport. The first few times my escort was a BG, later on I got married and was escorted by my wife. I always liked it. Like USVirgin says, why not extend the fantasy until departure? :content:

I guess I just hate goodbyes - awkward enough at the best of times without the rest of the world getting an eyeful of your 'love life'. Particularly bad when a nutter like Ms CP puts on an Oscar-winner (I actually thought she would drop to the floor at one stage, but was propped up by her accomplices, er, friends) because she thought I wouldnt email her.

 

Sure, its all business, but why not just give her the tip back at the hotel and put whatever is left after your trip in the sock drawer ?

That's the problem, the tips should never end, to them there must be some loose change in your pocket, even if it costs more to get back from the airport.

 

Oh, and there is always your cousin, the ATM.

I have had a few "good byes" at the airport and I am very thankful that they got me to the airport!!!

Waaaay too much adult beverage, but they took care of me, even to the extent of getting my baggage packed and getting me checked in at the airport...WOW, maybe there is a god for us wimps/mongers/drunks???

I recall about 10 years back while meeting a friend at Don Muang I spotted a really pretty girl saying good bye to her customer. I waited and then after the chap passed through customs, went up and asked her if she would appreciate a ride back into town. She readily accepted and in fact we had a wonderful ride together in bed that evening.
