expat
I've been in Thailand for many years, and yet have never had a massage in one of those shops that seem to be everywhere in Pattaya now. I'm curious--how do things work? Here are some of my logistical questions: From Ikkrang's massage girl trip report, I see that you usually take a shower first, or am I mistaken? If so, do you return to the booth/partitioned area with just a towel on or what? I realize that it's probably different at each shop, but I was just wondering how things work. Julian2
I'd certainly keep my clothes and belongings in full view at all times, even when showering.
Snake7
If your talking about an oil massage, sure you only need the towel on, then off when laid down. But for sure keep valuables in eye view.

Encore
In the MP I frequent frequently, it seems to be a custom that if you want more then massage (certainly if you want more then just a tug'n pull, you honor the service provider by having a shower. Smelly bodies don't encourage intimacy. Afterwards, I lie down with towel loosely draped over my buttocks, face down. If shower not offered, I just undress and lie down same way, and just wait to see what happens. Of course, once you know a SP personally, procedur may vary. I don't take more then a little over my anticipated tip plus fee.
