i've been to avebury circle, years ago on a family holiday to devon we stopped here for a break having no idea about the stones, arrived at dawn with morning mist lifting from the stones....quite enigmatic place :crazy: .....at 8 years or so i can be forgiven not noting the pub :surprised:

If it is only accesable by boat how the fuck is it mainland?

OK smart arse, you cannot access it by road or rail or plane (except perhaps sea plane), but yes you could get there if you fancied walking 25 miles over a number of hills, which makes it pretty fecking remote. :neener:
