SpiceMan
Libya's transport minister says at least 96 people have died and a Dutch boy has survived the crash of a Libyan Afriqiyah Airways plane with 104 people on board. How did even one person survive this?
Nervous God
Kids bounce, seriously, it's often kids that survive, bones not as brittle etc. I think in Japan when the 747 went down only a young girl survived. Bad crash - I hope no one I am meeting for work was on it
drogon
The Japan Airlines Flight 123? There were 3 or 4 survivors if my memory serves me well, watched recently 'Mayday' TV series and it was listed as the deadliest single plane crash. Could have been far more survivors if the stupid Japanese hadn't stopped the rescue efforts for the night.... I suppose this child was lucky, due to seat location, pure circumstantial luck and yes 'kids do bounce better'... (but if my parents, and possibly my sister/brother, died in the crash then I would prefer to be dead too...)
BelgianBoy
In Lybia it now seems majority of 60+ passengers were all Dutch. RIP

drogon
Sad for the families, strange as this airline doesn't have a bad record (and is not on any blacklist)...
