My Mrs even read a proclamation on the red shirt's Rajprasong stage a few weeks ago! She is sort of quiet now. She likes Weera, not the current batch of nutters that are running the show. But I no yerrow chrit. I green chirt. Once a GI, always a GI.

Meanwhile back at the trenches ...

Reds burn phone booths, police box

9:01am

Plumes of smoke could be seen over a tense Bangkok on Saturday morning after troops blocked red-shirts' pick-up trucks carrying food into the protest site.

Red-shirts destroyed a police box on Convent Road, and set two telephone booths and CCTVs nearby on fire.

A group of soldiers were still guarding the area on Rama IV Road around the Thai-Belgium bridge to prevent protesters from going into the rally site.

Skytrain and underground still closed from yesterday ...

My blood thirsty yellow shirt Mrs told me last night that shooting ALL of them was the only solution.

My suicidal red shirt Mrs told me she (they) are ready to die.

When I ask her "Die for what?" she remains silent.

May be we should swap in the interests of domestic harmony. (You send photo first :hubba: ).

Anyway good news:

Dr Weng said on the red shirt stage that they are running out of supplies and asked people to do their best to smuggle stuff in.

Lets hope Weng doesn't lie for a change! If they run out they have to leave.

Reds vow to keep on fighting

11:46am

Red-shirt protesters will continue to fight until Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva dissolves the lower House and resigns, United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) leader Jatuporn Prompan said on Saturday.

The situation now is "like a civil war", and it will be more violent if troops continue to surround rally site and block protesters from entering the area, he said.

He also said that there would be no more talks between the UDD and the government.

Another UDD leader, Kwanchai Praipana, said supplies are starting to run low after troops blocked protesters from bringing in food to those at the rally site.

But there are enough supplies to last days, he said.
