Pom Michael
True - and now that the main rally has been called off by their leaders - we get the anarchy that was truly behind the "invisible hand" that is guiding the show. Unfortunately this place has gotten very quiet from the other side. But this is exactly when we need them to speak out. What is needed now is some highly respected "Reds" types to come on TV and implore them to stop. Update : 14:00 - anyone close to the area? From Asoke, it looks like the entire Ratchaprasong area is up in smoke - like basically they light all their tire barricades at the same time. Amazing. Flashermac
Thaksin has already said ... "STOP BLAMING ME!" Presumably, he then went back to shopping in Paris again.

ThaiHome
Appears they have set all the barricades on fire in a last act. Also starting fires in isloated areas. I can somewhat understand the police and Army letting them do so. All that would happen is the police/army drive up, the guys would scatter and move someplace else. Let them get it out of thier system and get on with life tomorrow. TH
Pom Michael
Yes, Thaksin - if it wasn't so serious it would be funny. His "spokesman" said that he has never had anything to do with the protest.
