BaronTT
Media used by the Reds shirts. Pawns. Interesting, the Red guard that let the reporter into the Red zone, spoke English pretty well. Go figure! The Reds were so good at playing the Western media.
Sporty
YES, we clearly know more today, than the reporter knew at the time this was made. ( MAYBE, 5 days -- Old News )
BaronTT
Sorry, didn't catch the date. When did it air? My wife went over the top when she saw the video. Such misrepresentation! (I'm paraphrasing)

chuckwoww
It's OK but he's definitely taking the David and Goliath line. Much more complicated than that IMO.
bust
Agree but remember 60 Minutes is the McDonalds of commercial journalism. Just add commercials...no thinking needed.
BaronTT
Not just David and Goliath, but the facts that the Reds have weapons, and that the soldiers took some heavy casualties at the beginning due to the Reds having the weapons. Showed Reds only using slingshots and the like. The ex Aussie government official did a good job. But the news show itself was not a good representation of the situation, IMHO.
