I'd like to see some proof that a MAJORITY in Thailand does support Thaksin. Saying it over and over again does not constitute proof. And I am talking about NOW ... not in 2005.

 

 

 

According to Pom Michael, 61+ % voted for TRT/Thaksin...which means he carried the majority? Yes or no? So well...I'm not trying to defend the guy, but some here seem to have a skewed view of things...

It is compulsory but the law is not enforced Compulsory Voting

 

What the 2006 results do show is how many people did break the law by "Spoiling Ballot Papers" the fact that the ruling party could only attract 60% of the votes cast when in many cases it was the only name on the paper says a lot for alledged popularity.

Regardless of how the vote was cast, the result is history and that will remain a fact.....he was elected PM

 

 

No he wasn't, he did not hold a majoraty and failed to form a coalition

 

What part is too complicated to get your head around?
