cavanami
Asian Godfathers by Joe Studwell Interesting to see how people like Stanlet Ho and Mr. T "got" there money. A bit f a slow read as a lot of info and small print but worth the effort, IMO.

Nervous God
It's a bit hard to find but nice, Get a taxi to take you to RCA, it's down from the Disco's that are clustered near Rama 9. It's closer to the Mini Mall, that has a large supermarket. Once in RCA, ask a guard (they stop all cars coming in and out) he'll tell the taxi driver. tomc12
Saw the movie on Blu-ray-very good and follows the book. Hopefully the rest of the trilogy will be available on Region 1 players soon.
rchapstick
The Swedish version (the one currently showing, with subtitles) is available on streaming netflix, for those so inclined. I thought it was only "OK". Chick who played Lisbeth was very good, but the rest of the cast was only so-so, and they cut huge chunks out of the story to shorten the film. Hollywood, not to be outdone, is doing an English language version version with Hollywood actors. Not fully cast yet.
tomc12
If you think they cut a lot out on the first one, wait until you see "The Girl Who Played with Fire". For some reason they changed the director and cut 30 minutes. The first one you can follow without reading the book, but hard with the second one. Just finished reading "The Queen of Patpong" by Timothy Hallinan. Excellent. Has anybody read other books by this author?

USVirgin
Speaking of sequels, I notice Dean Barrett has come out with a follow-up to Skytrain to Murder. Can't recall the title, but I found THIS little ditty while looking for it.
