Flashermac
Bangkok really needs more hotels and shopping malls. Hard to find any in the city right now.
Old Hippie
We've been hearing the same about NEP for years as well also.
vinod
Yeah ... frequently over the last 10 years or so. Yes hearing about Nana the same.... I think as long as the old man is alive this wil be until it pass to next generation, like Ambassodor hotel. Once the old man died things changed quickly, beer garden gone, new development, hotel changes policy, joineer fees.... with time things change....SOC the talk is going on for few years.. cheers
Partyguy
I realize these rumours have been around for years about SC and Nana, but I heard it from a reliable source that claimed he heard it on the news in Bangkok, i guess was just wondering if anyone had heard it on the news also

LizardKing
Not at all likely. And shit like that would never even make the news here. SC property/buildings are owned by at least a dozen different owners. It would take years to buy it all and you'd notice the shutting of shops as they were bought up. As others have said, silly rumour only with no basis in reality.
gobbledonk
Bangkok really needs more hotels and shopping malls. Hard to find any in the city right now. Black humour, Flasher, very black. We need to remember that people lost their lives, and others their livelihoods, at that site.
