I could give a rats toss about illegals in Mexico, I do how ever care about illegals in my country, as it effects us here. Second, I always thought that the unions were the staunchist supporters of illegal immigration. And unions are the biggest supporters/contriutors to the Demoncrats. Demoncrats are generally in the middle and lower classes economically. I would think that they would be absolutely opposed to illegal immigration/amnesty, as the jobs taken by the "wets" are those more suited to this (generally) less educated class of citizens. As to whether or not Reagan had a "heart", well, I guess you are entitled to your opinion. But the reason for the bi-partisan bill was simply to supply affordable farm labor. You know, the work done by citizens before the Demoncrats introduced wholesale socialist welfare programs which not only paid citizens to not work, but stifled any incentive for many to get out of bed before noon. Amnesty was a failure over 20 years ago, but the Demoncrats are still pursuing it. Why, cuz the assholes want the Hispanic vote. Plain and simple, Obama and others are shamelessly pandering to the Hispanic vote at the expense of American citizens. HH EEhh...not sure that all unions are on board with that...UFW (United Farm workers) is for sure...As for Reagan...he was a shit president, the amnesty was just one of his shitty policies...cheap farm labor? a complete and total amnesty via lottery was it? Many NON farm workers got in on that deal, including the hot Mexican bitch at work with her tight jeans and great ass...oh sorry...anyway, her mom was an illegal factory worker, and her dad was an illegal construction worker, tons more like them...so much for cheap farm labor. If Reagan wanted to really have cheap farm labor, he could have just used a guest farm worker visa system, but he didn't. As for your view on democrats...well, maybe so, but quite a few are against illegals for the reasons you cited. But try to convince some people of that. Then try to explain to legal Mexicans as well as illegals that the influx of more illegals actually hurts them, by undercutting their wages and causing a higher need for social services, that they don't pay for...and watch the lies and bullshit fly... In the end, you will be called a racist, all us white guys are, and told that their are all sorts of illegals in the country not just Latinos (even though it is perhaps a Latino majority), and that you hate Mexicans and Latinos...never mind that you were married to one, and speak the language...you are just hateful of Brown people because you are just a white racist bigot... After all a lot of the USA once belonged to Mexico, never mind that they lost it fair and square, and thus we owe them their rights! Now stop being such a racist, and go hire as many as you can, give them food and shelter and tell them how sorry you are for stealing their country and oppressing them...the best solution is to do nothing, we need them, and many more...open the border and let the whole damned country come up here, Guatemalans and Salvadoreans as well! I need to know how I can quit my job and get on the dole and become rich on welfare...I heard on Fox news that tons are doing it!
