Besides the usual and unusual western booking sites ( eg nouvellesfrontieres.fr, vliegfabriek.nl) I also consult directly the airlines website, eg Etihad has promotion running to 31st July return London or Manchester at 18k THB + tax or 75K in business, real flat beds, 205cm between seats. Check Qatar also.

I booked a flight for a family living in LOS but booked in Farangland as I was told that prices much cheaper than booking in LOS.

In the nearest large city to me - I just do a search of all travel agents that specialize in Asia travel. All large cities have some sort of Chinatown. Those people come and go and do get good prices.

Then I go to my regular travel agent and ask if she can match the price. It works for me.

Try some of these links as a price guide. I usually get a price from Massic Travel, then get my regular agent "Lucky" at LR Travel Service near Suma Court on Soi Bukhao to match or better it.
