The Rose I have never heard of until now. What's up there? And, Patpong has Star of Light & Star of Love. It must be hard to find these places because the night market obscures the view, on Patpong 1 anyway! Are there any BJ bars at NEP or Soi Cowboy? Last but not least, are there any places where ice is used? Thanks There used to be a bar in Pattaya called 'Nice with Ice' which I thought was an apt description, then it was renamed 'Spricy Bar.' The Rose is another Kangaroo but from memory more dark and dingy. It's on the same side of Patpong 1 as Kangaroo but near the Silom end and it's also up a steep flight of stairs. Last time I was there was 12 August 2006, the Queens birthday, and the only places we could find open in Patpong were the Tavern Bar and The Rose.
