Couple of RU's in an IDC

I am looking that running a few machines in the LOS, any suggestions.

 

I currently get 4RU in an A1 datacentre with unlimited outbound, and 5G in per month for AUD199 (~THB 6000), hands on staff if required.

 

Any suggestions?

Your English is worse than mine, LoxInfo had a large IDC, there is also one out in the old Nation Print Room, where a sing cable terminates.

IDC in Bangkok is usually the acronym used for the Immigration Detention Centre!

Your AUD prices are very very good. I think you would pay over THB 15,000 for what you have there - at least at CS Loxinfo.

Can't remember who ran the IDC at the old Nation print factory, I think the ISP Data sheet put out monthly on connection may give good leads.

Thanks guys, I don't quite understand why Data Centre space is so expensive there compared to here in AUS, I believe there is a glut there, although I do admit I have a good deal here.

International bandwidth still costs a lot more than most countries, plus IDC's have a fairly short history, where severely regulated by government and are still (cough cough) regulated by government. Plus anyone who actually knows some things can usually get a better wage. Shortage of staff, backup power etc harder here and the list goes on.

I guess these are all a factor, but having been into a few DCs there and here, what they call A1 there, would never cut the mustard here.

 

I suspect it's like a lot of Thai thinking, better to go out of business with no customers, that from selling your product cheaper.

 

Looks like I will jump to Sing or HK where the options are better and the delays will be minimal.
