kamui
Nassimi was charged Friday for allegedly serving and selling alcohol to minors. He was escorted out of the Midtown South Precinct house later Friday afternoon and arraigned in the evening. She had a fake ID from Brazil on her, police said, that put her age at 23. Yep, just a tragic accident happening to a 17 year old teen, who did what most teens do at this age, but usually without any consequences except an hang-over the next day... The fake ID is probably standard today - I know two mothers in my circles who know that their 15 years old daughters have fake IDs in order to go to local discos. Flashermac
Bet her ID was from Khao Sarn Road.

Not an accident. This is called shitty parenting. Rich hi-so's. Not abnormal for this class of people. However, most of the teens I know and still work with don't mix booze and xanax and sneak their way into adult parties. If I, or most of the people I know for that matter, did not get home by 9pm, my ass was grass and the cops were called. Parents can't be perfect, but there is a thing called rules. I know all about the diplomat kid's lives in Bkk. Indeed, she was a hottie and quite slutty for a teen. I don't think she spent her weekends in the wat or the Immaculate Conception church. A sad tragedy but see it as it is. Crappy parenting.
rchapstick
Zillions of places in NYC to get fake ID's. Many storefronts openly advertise. When I went to Uni in NYC, NOBODY ever got carded. The rule was, if you can see over the bar, you got served. Sad for the Ambassador. A college freshman being stupid.
dogs
Dunno, but I feel sad mostly for Nassimi. The girl was grown up enough to get high and buy a fake ID, others shouldn't pay for her mistakes.

You obviously do not know shit about raising children while working abroad and the delicate balance one needs to achieve. And how do you know she was slutty? Are you friends with the John's? Did you have a kid in ISB that gave you this report? I didn't think so. You are just way out of line.
Flashermac
Amen. I was always raised not to speak ill of the dead. Criticise the parents all you want, but a lovely young woman has died needlessly. Let her rest in peace. I'm certainly not going to cast the first stone. I see the hell people I know go through with their kids, and I have no idea how they are able to do it. I have no kids, which makes me an expert to comment, if anyone needs any pointers, let me know, I'll be glad to chime in with some asinine comments of my own. I suppose Gladbag69 never did anything bad as a kid, and was the model child as he had proper parenting...I am also certain he has no kids, or he wouldn't make such comments. BaronTT
She was actually a good kid. Not slutty at all. I don't know where you got your information but it is totally wrong! She had a very bright future ahead of her. Condolences to the family and Nicole's friends.
jon46
I was in the "meatpacking" area on Saturday night and it was full of young people, especally girls dressed on a night out... I can see that all that partying and booze/stuff led to her tragic ending! Another story in the big apple!
