Skatduder
I'm in the states and my Thai phone is on One-2 Call. I do not want to loose my Thai Phone number and need a top up card to extend the date. Is there a way to get a top up card before my next trip to keep my number ? Dumsoda
There is a time limit on top[ ups. ( I think 1 month) How long before you are back?? Get someone you know here to top it up "On line" here and you'll be OK Cheers DS
Specialist
As I understand it, the 1-2-Call system has to see your phone, via the Thai GSM wireless phone system, to keep the number alive. Unless you can FedEx your phone to a friendly board member who happens to be in-country, so he can keep the phone alive, you're probably SOL. TroyinEwa/Perv
He can also beg a 1-2-call owner to send him some validity from their phone to extend the expiration. My ex used to do that all the time for her kid. The phone doesn't physically have to be there or even turned on, I believe. The sender will just have to have the number of the phone the validity extension will be sent too and they call the appropriate number and it can be done within a minute. I believe the sender dials *140, press send and follow the instructions. Here is info from AIS's page on exactly that. Link
Skatduder
I have 400/bt on the phone and when I top it up it validates for a year. I thought I would be back earlier but had to make a change.
inthaiguy
You may want to look at thaiprepaidcard.com if you are abroad and need to top up your pre paid phone.
cavanami
I top up via my Kasikorn Bank account, do it online, quick and easy. Works for DTAC, Hutch, etc.
