I will be in Bangkok with a mate this Christmas and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a decent Christmas lunch?

(Staying Suk Soi 4 - Nana).

Maybe Landmark? Westin? Novotel Siam Square?

Don't mind paying a bit for a decent lunch.

Any suggestions welcome!

(Would love to go to Cent's restaurant for lunch but I think Surin might be a little far for a day trip!! Lol) :)

Here's Bourbons Street's Xmas lunch info. Haven't check any others yet but I'm sure their menus are posted if you look.

Best upmarket would be a) Shangri-la Next2 (fresh remodel), B) Lord Jim's at Oriental (can never go wrong) or c) Flow at Millennium Hilton (great wine & cheese).

Bring money. None will be under B4k w/o drinks methinks. But all worth every satang as well.

Should we be in Bangers and not HKG or Tokyo, Mrs LK & I will be hitting one of those three...

I've heard that The Oriental does a fantastic Xmas lunch. If "money was no object" I would be heading there.

However, as we're staying in Sukhumwit, on holidays and not "overly Xmas-ey people", my buddy and are are more than happy with Sheraton Grande Suk. And I think 1100 is a good price for lunch there.
