US Navy officials have said it was "absolutely unacceptable" that one of their pilots used a jet's contrail to draw a penis in the sky.

The phallic outline over Okanogan County in the western US state of Washington provoked much mirth online.

But commanders at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island did not see the funny side and have ordered an inquiry.

I call BS on this

Well cavanami you lovely chap,

here, from the mouth that lives below the Urine stained hair, are the Trumperbelle's own words from his own twitter feed,

"Put big game trophy decision on hold until such time as I review all conservation facts. Under study for years. Will update soon with Secretary Zinke. Thank you!"

So here he is backtracking on his decision to allow the import of big game trophies and body parts .

So the question I ask again is:

These are Trump's own words, are they fake or true?

Are they the words of God?

If you can't believe the Trumperbelle himself, why not believe news organisations, who pay people to get it right, factually? Not make it up as they go along...

Now the flip side and the rest of the story...

There is much misunderstanding about this issue.

Humans and wild life are in competition for food and as human populations grow they expand into former animal ranges. Invariably, as we see in Thailand with the wild guar (buffalo) and elephant, local villagers see them as a threat to crops and kill them. The same of course is true in Africa, the farmer will seek to protect his crops.

Yet these animals attack their crops simply because humans have encroached upon their natural feeding grounds.

Many countries have created conservation areas and nature parks to provide a reserve for endangered animals. But setting apart land like this and in particular policing it costs money and many poor countries simply cannot afford this. In addition nature reserves can soon become over populated and the animals you are trying to preserve end up dying of famine.

This is where legalised regulated sports hunting comes to the rescue, it culls the animal population and prevents famine, and it provides an income to pay for the upkeep of the reserve.

Emotionally sports hunting is repugnant yet by making such ''Sportsmen'' pay for the privilege it makes it possible for those animals to survive.

In England we have annual deer culls, even in London's parks, but it has gone on for so many centuries that no one notices.

note these comments

£4.5m: The cost of damage caused by deer to plantations and other commercial woodlands,

sustaining wild deer for sport contributes £170m a year to the economy and provides 2,500 full-time jobs.

In summary can we have a rational rather than an emotional and political debate on this issue.

Thank you for posting your misunderstanding twice.

I think the problem the civilised world has with the Trumps hunting and wanting things their own way, is that they are always trumpeting and going on about how they are the best, and the greatest and the finest and so on.

This boasting is at odds with intelligent and civilised behaviour, and the rule of law that decries the killing of endangered species.

The post you've made, twice, points out that in protecting an animal, their numbers can be an problem to locals.

In asserting that legalised regulated sports hunting comes to the rescue, you miss the obvious point that, if locals were allowed to hunt or cull the excess animals, for food or other use, instead of locking these animals away for the rich and their spawn to shoot in safety, to make the proponents of the legalised regulated sports hunting a lot of money, the rich morons of the world would have to to find other pastimes to while away their time.

Like boasting.
