Coss
I'll try and keep this brief: Was the Obama Administration Unable to Arrange the Release of Three Hostages in North Korea? https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/obama-administration-unable-arrange-release/ Well no, only one of them was detained under the Obama tenure, the other two were detained during Trump's current reign. Trump says he will meet North Korea's Kim Jong Un on June 12 in Singapore. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2018/05/10/donald-trump-says-he-meet-north-koreas-kim-june-1-donald-trump-makes-long-awaited-announcement-summi/596715002/ Oh fuck, it's spreading, too close to Aoteroa for my comfort. And that's if the meeting actually takes place. I wonder if the courts will put a travel ban on Trump to prevent him fleeing the jurisdiction of the USA?, you know Singapore then Dubai to see Takky? Saudi Arabia will seek to develop its own nuclear weapons if Iran does, Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir http://www.arabnews.com/node/1299706/saudi-arabia Other commentary: While President Donald Trump is walking away from the nuclear agreement with Iran, he is doubling down on negotiating with North Korea. Even as he scorns "a horrible, one-sided deal that should have never, ever been made," he appears prepared to offer North Korea a concession that would be far more damaging than anything President Barack Obama even contemplated offering Iran: removing the roughly 28,500 US troops stationed in South Korea. Such a move would be a huge win for North Korea and China and a major danger for South Korea and Japan, and it would send the message to other rogue regimes that it pays to develop nuclear weapons. If that's the Trump Doctrine, it would be a disaster for the United States and the world. Imagine if during the negotiations with Iran, Obama had offered to pull US troops out of the Middle East or to stop defending Israel? That wouldn't just have been a non-starter -- Republicans in Congress probably would have started impeachment proceedings. https://edition.cnn.com/2018/05/10/opinions/us-troops-withdrawal-south-korea-foolish-fischer/index.html A black Yale student fell asleep in her dorm’s common room. Coss
I watched the POTUS welcoming the three Americans back to US soil, it was a short Campaign rally for the three men. and this, an announcement that he'd withdraw troops from South Korea? "My proudest achievement will be — this is part of it — when we denuclearize that entire peninsula." Also talked about ratings breaking the all time in the history of television biggest record for 3am....
cavanami
Hey Coss...did you know this? The Obama administration has disclosed to Congress that this summer's controversial nuclear arms agreement with Iran was never signed and is not legally binding, according to a new report this week. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3334249/State-Department-says-Iran-NEVER-SIGNED-nuclear-deal-s-not-legally-binding-tells-Congress-butt-Obama-s-political-commitments.html
dean
With his brilliant diplomatic skills, do you think Trump will obtain the release of Americans/Iranian-Americans from detention in Iran? There's far more of them than Americans detained in North Korea. There's an 82 year old Iranian-American that probably can't wait too long for his release. The Obama administration has disclosed to Congress that this summer's controversial nuclear arms agreement with Iran was never signed and is not legally binding, according to a new report this week. http://www.dailymail...ommitments.html Well it doesn't really matter, since Trump has said he's pulling out. So in or out, why such a Triumph for Trump? If it's not in force then why is Trump claiming such a victory? Maybe it's like the Paris Climate thing that he pulled out of, except the process is that the pull out can't start until 2020, so the USA is still in it until then. I think people are saying (Internationally) 'protest a bit about what Trump does, but just let him roll for a while', he's not gonna make the end of his term... And the Daily Mail? 2015? really? Hardly Reuters, or the BBC in 2018....

cavanami
I agree with Ashby... What they are neglecting to say, "Thailand has a 80% tariff on imported motorcycles. The only way to get around this is to build them inside Thailand." Harleys are OK but they are over-priced for the US Market and NO-way would I buy one while paying a $10,000+Tariff in Thailand...
