Thanks for that link Steve, that was illuminating.

America lost the War of 1812. We may not want to remember it that way but we took an L.

To paraphrase the State Dept spokes'person' "Heather Nauert " who was speaking of D day and the German people :::

" Remembering the war of 1812, We obviously have a very long history with the government of Britain, and we have a strong relationship with the government of England. "

Trumps is still referencing Hillary, as he does Russia's bidding.

Trump says Russia should be at G7 meeting - and then takes shots at Hillary.

Is Trump representing the USA at the G7 meeting? or is he campaigning in the deep south?

Quote ::

"It used to be the G8, because Russia was in it, now Russia is not in it. Now, I love our country, I have been Russia's worst nightmare, If Hillary got in I think Putin is going, man, I wish Hillary won, because you see what I do but, with that being said Russia should be in this meeting, why are we having a meeting, without Russia being in the meeting, and I would recommend and it's up to them, Russia should be in the meeting, should be a part of it, you know whether you like it or not, and it may not be politically correct, but we have a world to run, and at the G7 which used to be the G8 they threw Russia out, they should let Russia come back in, because we should have, Russia at the negotiating table "

That was the POTUS

-watch for yourselves, tip, lotsa gesticulating

Really? I'd call it a draw. Yes, the Brits captured Washington, D.C., but they got their tails kicked elsewhere. In the end, nothing changed.

Plus the U.S. Navy punched far above its weight.

1812 a stalemate IMO, mainly for the reasons Flashermac pointed + don't forget this happened right in the middle of the Napoleonic wars (and the 1812 war is a consequence of those due to the blockade).

Therefore the British had other things to be concerned about + were always short of funds hence the reason a long costly war on a secondary front would hamper their war effort in Europe (and maintaining the Royal Navy + building new ships to maintain the advantage over the French = major expense).

Funny, did not know the peace negotiations took place in the city of Ghent.

Well Trump is in Singapore, but he prolly needs some cheeseburgers and cable news after the embarrassing G6 +1.

So tomorrow is the day, 12th of June. The summit.

My prediction ::

79% One or other of Trump or Kim Jong Un, will walk away from the table. Both sides will say they got what they were after and claim victory.

20% Some disaster, leading to a very serious escalation in tensions.

1% Kimmy doesn't show. or Dennis Rodman saves the day.

Thank you President Trump for standing up to them.

Trump Body-Slams The G7

Trump leveraging America’s economic might against globalist forces

President Trump pulled no punches and dropped an economic suplex on the world leaders at the 44th annual G7 Summit in Quebec, Canada.

The US, Canada, the UK, France, Italy, Japan and Germany represent more than 60% of global net worth between them. President Trump brought a long overdue wake-up call to the proceedings.

It isn't sensible to expect Russia to relinquish land so keeping them out of G7 is pointless: http://archive.is/sPein

Well I just heard something interesting on Das Radio

- At the Singapore Summit tomorrow the meeting will start with a one on one, just Trump, Kim Jong Un and two interpreters.

For two hours before any one sane gets to meet.

What could go wrong?
