Coss
And Trump tweeted : " Wow, what a tough sentence for Paul Manafort, ...." https://twitter.com/...679422865006593 For Donald J.Trump and all his Trumpanzees sitting at attention - Manafort has not been sentenced, this is pre trial detention. - Perhaps y'all could learn English and how to use it. From Trump's twitter feed replies - the Attorney General quoted the Bible saying we are required to follow the law. The law as far as witness tampering is written in such a way that the putting Manafort in jail was the only legal (and according to Sessions, the only biblical) choice.…

Steve
Right at this very moment. China's Xi is a more powerful globally than Trump. There is some truth to this. Canada and Euope are alienated. A lot of America's allies (S. Korea being one of them as well as Japan, Australia, Philippines,) are doing more trade with China than America. The shithole country comment has alienated all of sub saharan Africa and China is visibly the dominant foreign power in Africa. The immigration policies and comments have alienated central and south Americans. Xi is more powerful right now.
drogon
Add to that: - all Asian countries now have to think hard about their foreign policy and their relation with China -> simply because they now know the USA will not protect them or even intervene anymore. Future? Philippines - Cambodia - Thailand = subservient to China, Japan = nuclear weapons, South Korea all alone, Vietnam alone and so on..... Only possible counterweight would be a kind of Asian union but of course this will not happen.... China is (for at least a couple generations) the local economic powerhouse + military giant with nobody except its own internal issues/problems to stop it. Rise and fall of empires..... Coss
And in the battle between The Trumpaganza and the truth - - For those who are unaware, apparently the current laws, vis a vis the handling of Immigrants and Asylum seekers, do not require the separation of children, infants and toddlers, from their parents at the border. The reason that this is happening is a 'policy' from Jeff Sessions and Donald Trump. The statements that Donald J Trump makes, that say that it's the Democrat's Law that does this, are just flat out lies. Be ashamed America. Coss
Trump says he will call North Korea's Kim on Sunday - "“I’m going to be actually calling North Korea,†Trump told Fox News in an interview when asked what he planned to do on Father’s Day. The president later told reporters in a news conference on the White House lawn he had given Kim a phone number to allow him to reach Trump directly. Coss
And the narrative that says it's the democrats fault, is doubly flawed when it is seen that Trump is using the children as a bargaining chip to get what he wants in a negotiation ... What next? get some NRA volunteers to go and hold guns to the heads of the children until the democrats cave in, to Trump's demands? So the formula is. I am negotiating with the opposition party over an Immigration bill. I will institute policy of separating children from their parents until the opposition party gives up. Yeah! Hoo Hah! that's winning! where's my AR15! Yee Hah!
