Joking aside maybe society requires anarchy since democracy is heading nowhere

In the UK there was a democratic referendum, simple vote, should we stay within the EU or Piss Off

The decision was put to the people and the majority voted leave, Article 20 was invoked should have been end off, but no, now only are the politicians dragging their feet they are also going against a democratic decision.

Every one of them should be named and shamed and come the great day lined up against a wall and shot, they were election to represent the electorate and not to fill their own ego, Assholes most of them, the country is too soft,  and you wonder why I bailed out.

The establishment hates Trump, since they can't buy him off. He already has more money than he could ever need, unlike the once poor Clintons, Obamas etc. He is his own man, like him or not. That infuriants the folks who are used to telling the government what to do.

Mexico had already agreed to deploy its National Guard several months ago. The Mexican government agreed to the "deployment of its National Guard throughout Mexico, giving priority to its southern border" during secret talks with Kirstjen Nielsen back in March. And, the agreement to host asylum seekers in Mexico while their cases proceed in the U.S. was reached in December. Trump, however, tweeted on Saturday that he was "very excited about the new deal with Mexico." (New York Times / Reuters)

William Barr finally caves, but House Democrats are just getting started with him

Bill Palmer | 6:04 pm EDT June 10, 2019

Earlier today, the House Judiciary Committee announced that it had finally gotten what it was demanding from Attorney General William Barr: the underlying (and previously redacted) materials from the Mueller report. Barr promised to begin turning over these documents by the end of the day. This means Barr won’t be formally held in criminal contempt tomorrow, as had been planned. But it turns out House Democrats are still gunning for Barr tomorrow anyway.

This afternoon Chairman Jerry Nadler revealed that the House will still move forward tomorrow with hearings tomorrow to authorize civil contempt court action against William Barr and Don McGahn, as reported by NPR. Why does this distinction matter? It means Barr isn’t off the hook just because he belatedly turned over what he previously and illegally refused to turn over.

Tomorrow’s House vote will be a public spectacle which will help educate the public on the obstruction crimes that Trump and his regime are currently committing. It’ll also allow the House to go into court and obtain rulings that the likes of Barr and McGahn are legally required to cooperate going forward.

These court rulings will mean that if William Barr refuses to turn over any additional documents in the future, or if Don McGahn refuses to show up and testify, the courts can have them arrested for contempt of court – which is a much more powerful tool than contempt of Congress. It also shouldn’t be overlooked that Barr caved today. He fancies himself the most fearless obstructor on Trump’s team – yet even he caved for fear of what House Democrats are in the process of doing to him.

So? The deal hadn't gone through yet, and everyone was predicting it wouldn't. The celebration in Tijuana in fact had been planned to be a protest against the tariffs!  It changed to a celebration when the deal was announced.

woof woof

LEFT BIAS

...

Notes from Dave Van Zandt: The Palmer Report is a news and opinion blog/website created by Bill Palmer the former writer and owner of Daily News Bin.  The Palmer Report is typically well sourced and usually points to credible sources.  However, there is a very strong liberal bias in reporting and story content.  The Palmer Report uses loaded words and sensational headlines that don’t always reflect the content of the article. An example headline is as follows: Donald Trump’s demented “Happy New Year” tweet is the worst thing you’ll read all year. The Palmer Report has been criticized by the Slate for publishing misinformation. Palmer Report also has false and unproven claims according to Snopes, which Mr. Palmer calls the National Enquirer.

Notes from Dennis Kelley: The Palmer Report (TPR) is a liberally biased news site / blog that deals more in confirmation bias than in actual reporting. Confirmation bias generally consists of taking a set of facts, often unrelated, and building a web of conjecture around them in order to present a specific point of view as opposed to the actual facts. While confirmation bias may not be, technically, fake news, the sensational nature of this type of reporting often does more harm than good. Mr. Palmer has been criticized for inaccurate reporting in his work by other fact and bias checking sites, both for his work on Daily News Bin and on TPR, as evidenced by the entries on this list from Snopes, as well this article from the The Atlantic. Although TPR does contain some factual content, the misleading and biased way in which it is presented earns TPR a Questionable rating. (D. Kelley 4/3/17)

Update: 3/31/17: Mr. Palmer has republished his false report regarding Media Bias Fact Check from Daily News Bin to the Palmer Report. You can read our response here.

Update 4/18/17: Mr. Palmer wrote another false and libelous article about Media Bias Fact Check. Here is our response. His consistent false reporting on MBFC without evidence to support his claims dictates that we move the Palmer Report to our Questionable Source list due to lack of sourced evidence, numerous false and unproven reports from fact checkers and extreme bias in reporting
