The BBC interviews Trump backers in West Virginia, a formerly solid Democrat state that has turned red.

A couple things. They are voting their economic interest. Nothing new. I am not sure what the proves. Secondly, West Virginia has been solidly red since 1996. Its technically a southern state and that makes sense regionally. I wouldn't deem them solidly blue prior. Mostly voted Dems but also voted Republican as well (Reagan, Nixon, Eistenhower)

But since '96 they went for Bush twice, McCain, Romney, Trump.

Coal industry has worsened since then so it seems like voting Republican hasn't done much good. And recently another coal company closed 4 mines and have gone bankrupt. Seems Trump hasn't delivered.

Multiple sources, all of high character, saying the same thing, some first hand knowledge, all part of Trump's administration, some he hired, some Republican, the matter went several administration offices as is protocol before a Democrat in Congress saw it and we're still discussing if Trump is innocent?

okay.

Pence and his wife are looking in his closet for the right tie to wear for his swearing in and if he should use the family bible or 'borrow' the old Gutenberg bible from a museum.

Here is a thought. Do you think Pence played the sycophantic VP because he knew Trump will never last a full term?

Burisma ... a Ukrainian oil company.

"Its founder, Mykola Zlochevsky, served as Ukraine’s minister of ecology and natural resources under President Viktor Yanukovych, who was swept from office by mass protests in 2014. Following that uprising, Western governments pressed Ukraine’s new leaders to investigate corruption. One of the initial subjects was Zlochevsky, who was accused of money laundering and abuse of power. Zlochevsky has denied any wrongdoing."

Biden's son was a lawyer for Burisma, receiving a heft salary for whatever it was that he did. Burisma was under investigation, and Trump claims that Pap Joe, then the Vice Pres, used his influence to keep his son from being investigated.  However, that has never been proven.

"Trump has said and tweeted that the Biden family “was paid off, pure and simple” and accused the family of corruption, extortion and “pillaging” foreign countries. He’s called them “stone-cold crooked” and publicly urged Ukraine and China to open criminal investigations of them."

Bloomberg is the source for all of the above quotes.
