Trump disagrees with his own intel department about Russia influencing to re elect him. Of course its the deep state. So, if a President can't root out this so called deep state, then he's incompetent, right? No according to his supporters, its this circular argument. It's bullshit. It's why I don't view the videos on here. Its a waste of time. Unless I want to have a laugh.

This administration has done some good things, they have reduced the middle, the independents such as myself because they have exposed the GOP for what it is. The Democrats are bad. Pelosi has no clue half the time. The Dem leadership is out of touch,  but the GOP are downright evil. Neither deserves to rule, but the GOP is unacceptable in its present form. Big difference.

I don't like Bloomberg one iota. I wouldn't vote for him if he paid me and I don't doubt he'd make an offer. That said, the media puts way too much into the debates. It has very little do with how you would govern. The media makes way too much out of the performances. Ever minute thing is looked at. Teddy Roosevelt would lose a modern debate. He had a high pitched annoying voice. Jefferson surely would have lost the debates because he had a stammer. Both of them are on Mt. Rushmore.

Bloomberg hasn't had a debate in about 9 years and it was for mayor and its a totally different situation. He had a "bad" debate this time. It has nothing to do with what he would do as President.

Nixon outdebated JFK in '60, which one was the better President?

Bubi...wake up call...ALL PRESIDENTS have done this...do you understand ALL PRESIDENTS?

That said, it is NOT necessary the right thing to do but it is COMMONLY DONE.

Mr Cav , again: I am not interested in the crimes the pardoned people  might have done and I do further realise that any president before might have pardoned probably millions of inmates. What I saying is that the act of pardoning must not be done in exchange for a previous favour. Whether it was Bill or Donald. What it again shows is that the whole system having a President seems to lead into desaster if you look at Washington , Istanbul or Moscow. Crooks they have become due to lack of parliamentary ability to draw a line somewhere. Imagining that Trump would continue in office for another 4 years looks like a real danger for the US democratic system.

It's called a Swamp for a reason!

CS said he more or less like Sanders...but read up on Sanders, a real scum bag who scammed the system with his BS socialist/communists everything free that the weak minded are eating up.

Sanders story, true, he went to a corner bar and ordered a $0.95 beer, paid $1.00 and waited for his $0.05 change! Sanders is all about Sanders. All his family and people around have become very wealthy. In every case, the wealth came after Sanders "arranged" some legislation.

The DNC run a very corrupt party among each others. Actually far more corrupt than the RNC internally. The DNC however are too scared usually to try it in a general election against the Republicans.

Looks like they are trying to take the nomination away from Sanders. Sanders scares the establishment Dems far more than he scares the Republicans.

Lets be clear. Sanders is honest. I respect his honesty not necessarily his politics. Same with 'The Squad' they are honest about who they are and they are not beholden to anyone. I am pains to think of someone on the right who is their own man/woman and not beholden to anyone and true to their ideology and views, good or bad. Possibly Steve King of Iowa, the supremacist, possibly. I'm not sure if any of his policy views are because of lobbyist money. But his core views, abhorrent as they are, are at least honest.

Even after the big purchases, the couple has around $500,000 in cash and investments, including three retirement accounts owned by Jane Sanders.

Bernie the multimillionaire!

I would hardly call it as impressive as you make out.  For a tireless, hard working Senator it's preposterous how little he owns in the pie chart you present.  I'm not very old, but I'm doing rather well for myself, certainly a hell of a lot better than Sanders, on a surprisingly high scale.  In fact I'd be worried if my finances were as poor as Sanders.

Cav, not having a go at you or anything, but it's okay if you think Sanders is rich, but the flip side is kind of - well just how bad are you going if that's your opinion?

Sanders is about orienting society to a place where you don't need a solid gold toilet to feel rich.  How about providing the basic services for people that pay taxes for anyway.  Think about it.  If you don't have to pay out of your pocket with your after tax cash for medical expenses.  If basic comestibles were made available cheaply.  All that extra money you have makes you a lot richer.  Say you want to go to the opera, but could never afford it before.  Or you have a passion for sailing and you decide to build your boat as hobby, perhaps the start of a successful business?  I'm sure you can think of many more examples.  What does a solid gold toilet achieve?
