Steve
I think she would have made a great attorney general. That said, I'm not enthusiastic but I understand it. The establishment likes her. She won't get as much of the black vote as everyone thinks. Not enough Indian Americans to make a difference. Black women, especially college educated ones, will like her and support her and the elderly voters but that's it. Men won't support her. That said, this ticket should win but I suspect the polls are going to tighten a lot. A certain segment of the population will come out to vote for Trump as a vote against that ticket and not because they like Trump. They will do so for the same reasons they came out to vote against Obama. She is symbolic of demographic changes and that doesn't bode well. I understand it if even if I don't agree. It's a fairly normal human reaction to some extent. If Biden can keep Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona and Florida has he has now, he'll win. He will likely lose Ohio by a nose and its 50/50 in Florida with him having a slight edge even though the polls show a clear lead. It's Florida, big, diverse and unpredictable.

Good thing LBJ didn't want another Din Bin Foo. But they were Democrats, so it's okay for them to be prats.
Flashermac
Oh, yeah ... remember Obama honoring a US Navy Corpse-man? How about holding all politicians to the same standards, or is that too much to ask? Meanwhile, the choice has been made - Joe's running mate is a woman who publicly branded him a racist and has said she believes the women who brought harassment charges against him. This should be interesting. Vote for the arsehole of your choice. Also, the Democratic Party has chosen its campaign slogan for 2020. EMBRACE THE SUCK! p.s. Civilians probably won't understand that, but who gives a shit I'm to old to be PC.

Coss
Trump claimed that in 1917 the Spanish Flu “probably ended the Second World War,” even though that pandemic began in 1918 and World War II didn’t begin until 1939. “The closest thing is in 1917, they say, the great pandemic,” Trump said, comparing the Spanish Flu to COVID-19. “It certainly was a terrible thing where they lost anywhere from 50 to 100 million people, probably ended the Second World War.” He added: “All the soldiers were sick. That was a terrible situation.” A White House official claimed Trump was talking about World War I, where more soldiers died from the disease than from fighting.
