And for those who are God Botherers...

Galatians 6:7–9 The New King James Version

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

For he who sows to his flesh, will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit, reap everlasting life.

And let us not grow weary, while doing good, for in due season, we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

How Trump plowed through US$1 billion, losing his campaign's cash advantage

https://www.stuff.co.nz/world/americas/donald-trumps-america/300139127/us-election-2020-how-trump-plowed-through-us1-billion-losing-his-campaigns-cash-advantage

   excerpts:

He tapped his political organisation to cover exorbitant legal fees related to his impeachment. Aides made flashy displays of their newfound wealth – including a fleet of luxury vehicles purchased by Brad Parscale, his former campaign manager.

Meanwhile, a web of limited liability companies hid more than US$356 million in spending from disclosure, records show.

“They spent their money on unnecessary overhead, lifestyles-of-the-rich-and-famous activity by the campaign staff and vanity ads,” said Mike Murphy, a veteran Republican consultant who advised John McCain and Jeb Bush and is an outspoken Trump critic. “You could literally have 10 monkeys with flamethrowers go after the money, and they wouldn’t have burned through it as stupidly.

Since 2017, more than US$39 million has been paid to firms controlled by Parscale, who was ousted as campaign manager over the summer. An additional US$319.4 million was paid to American Made Media Consultants, a Delaware limited liability company, whose owners are not publicly disclosed.

Campaigns typically reveal in mandatory disclosures who their primary vendors are. But by routing money to Parscale’s firms, as well as American Made Media Consultants, Trump satisfied the basic disclosure requirements without detailing the ultimate recipients.

Other questionable expenditures by Trump and the RNC that are included in campaign finance disclosures:

Nearly US$100,000 spent on copies of Donald Trump Jr’s book Triggered, which helped propel it to the top of the New York Times bestsellers list.

Over US$7.4 million spent at Trump-branded properties since 2017.

At least US$35.9 million spent on Trump merchandise.

US$39 million in legal and “compliance” fees. In addition to tapping the RNC and his campaign to pay legal costs during his impeachment proceedings, Trump has also relied on his political operation to cover legal costs for some aides.

and it goes on...

Just when I thought I'd see the funniest things to come out of Yokel Land today, there's this from the Guardian -

Rudy Giuliani faces questions after compromising scene in new Borat film

https://www.theguardian.com/film/2020/oct/21/rudy-giuliani-faces-questions-after-compromising-scene-in-new-borat-film\

...

The reputation of Rudy Giuliani could be set for a further blow with the release of highly embarrassing footage in Sacha Baron Cohen’s follow-up to Borat.

In the film, released on Friday, the former New York mayor and current personal attorney to Donald Trump is seen reaching into his trousers and apparently touching his genitals while reclining on a bed in the presence of the actor playing Borat’s daughter, who is posing as a TV journalist.

Following an obsequious interview for a fake conservative news programme, the pair retreat at her suggestion for a drink to the bedroom of a hotel suite, which is rigged with concealed cameras.

After she removes his microphone, Giuliani, 76, can be seen lying back on the bed, fiddling with his untucked shirt and reaching into his trousers. They are then interrupted by Borat who runs in and says: “She’s 15. She’s too old for you.”...

I'm looking forward to viewing "Borat Subsequent Moviefilm"

Obama is a great public speaker. He is scathing too.

I think Biden should not have agreed to a debate. He's ahead and has a pathway to victory. The bad that can come of a bad debate far,  far exceeds the good. People who are voting have long decided. The ones who are not voting need a reason. Saying 'Trump is bad' isn't going to do it. May as well as go to each stop and say 1+1=2. We know that already. He should be talking economy - economy - economy and how it applies to the working person. Nothing macro. Jobs, wages, etc. Hammer that. Let his surrogates do the Trump is bad stuff. In fact, I'd tell them to talk economy as much as they can mixed in with.

The Dems are awful at politics. I've long said that. Trump spent his 2016 campaign saying anything he thought the people wanted to hear. It works. It's always worked in politics.

tRump is so desperate he's not even cogent any longer. He agrees to a debate to a moderator he says is far left. What dumb fuck agrees to that if that's what you think? You have a choice and a say in who moderates. I'll explain trumpism to you. He knows he may likely lose the debate and he's preparing an excuse ahead of time. If he does decently he will say despite the far left moderator, he kicked ass, if he doesn't its the moderators fault.

On a sidenote, im not so sure Biden will make it to a 2nd term physically. The office is mentally and physically draining. Trump is able to do it at his age by simply not doing the job. By just tweeting and watching Fox News all day and letting his minions run the country. Not too different than Reagan who literally napped his way through 2 terms. That's not hyperbole. That's documented by his own administration officials.

Look at the before and after photos of the presidents that actually  did  the job.  Clinton, Bush 2, Obama, aged visibly in 8 years for fairly young men at the time.
