Coss Posted June 10, 2022 Report Share Posted June 10, 2022 Whilst here was a lot of stuff to see in the 1st hearing, I guess the two big points, which no doubt will be laboured, over the next few days, until Monday's (USA Time) hearing are: Bill Bar, quite clearly saying that he repeatedly told Trump, the idea that the election was stolen from Trump, was "Bull Shit". This goes to - Trump not being able to say, that he "didn't know" the election wasn't stolen or "believed" any iteration of the election being stolen. Ivanka Trump saying that - she does not believe her father’s false claims that the 2020 election was stolen from him because of voting fraud. She said her perspective changed after hearing that Bill Barr, who was Trump’s attorney general for most of 2020, until he resigned that December, had explained to her father repeatedly that he had lost the election. “I respect Attorney General Barr. So I accepted what he was saying,” Ivanka Trump told congressional investigators. This goes to - Trump not being able to say, that he "didn't know" the election wasn't stolen or "believed" any iteration of the election being stolen. _____ I'm looking forward to the next one and as some of the tv lawyers have said, there's no room being left, for the Department of Justice to err on the side of caution, or policy, or tradition, or cowardice, in not bringing an indictment or indictments to Donald Trump et al. The market index, on Monday, closed down 151 points at 3,749.84, notably below the 3,798.91 level, which is where it closed on Jan. 19, 2021. (The Dow and Nasdaq indexes long ago fell below the pre-inauguration levels of 31,930 and 13,197, respectively.) Monday’s market plunge put the S&P back in bear market territory and hit a new 52-week low.
