Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg, who must be about a thousand years old, is back in a Washington hospital again. Will Trump get to appoint another new justice? Which takes priority in Congress - impeaching a president or appointing a justice for life?

The Dems are doing all they can to try to stop President Trump!

Former Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner on working with Obama and any thing he proposes "Kill it, stop it, slow it down, whatever we can"

Mitch McConnell, current Republican Senate majority leader "Block everything Obama does even if it helps the country" McConnell I think was also the person who said one of his proudest moments was telling Obama in his office he will not work with him on anything.

The Republicans deserve zero sympathy. The current toxic state of the Congress was created by them. None. McConnell needs to go. I have no problem with Republicans trying to block things that goes contrary to their ideological beliefs. None at all. Be honest to your beliefs, but they go far beyond that. It's about raw power by any means necessary. Fair or foul. I'm sure there are Republicans out there that can conduct politics with integrity. This isn't it.

As far as FDR, I totally agree he did all he can to goad Japan and Germany into declaring war. History has shown he was right. England was on its back foot after Dunkirk and could have been forced to accept a truce. France was done. Japan ruled Asia. America was completely isolated. And had Ford and other industrialists had their way we would have been supplying Nazi Germany as well (Ford actually did, his plant in Germany was blown up by American bombs and he was compensated). FDR stopped the possibility of making money from all sides.

America was still an isolationist nation in 1940. America didn't think much of WW1. For most of America's history it stayed out of European wars and the argument to stay out of WW1 was 'it was just another European war'. For a millennia, Europe had been fighting each other constantly, at least once a generation but more often almost every decade there was some sort of conflict in Europe.Literally. If you look at European history there has never been a break in war by 2 or more countries for over a 1000 years prior and one was called the 30 years war and another the 100 years war jus to provide some size and scope of it all.  It took WW2 and its massive destruction for Europe to finally culturally move away from war as a means of politics as von Clausewitz accurately states.

America was psychologically about making money and letting others fight. Had we waited America would be isolated and eventually targeted on all sides. Had the UK been forced into a truece, Canada would have been co opted. As well as the Caribbean. So, FDR was proven right in getting America into the war.

As far as the end, totally correct. He was old, frail and dying but he was the President. It's difficult to ask of him what he was physically and mentally unable to do. Eisenhower and Reagan were also shadow of themselves at the end of their presidencies as well. If we are judging FDR's 13 years in office on only how he negotiated the end of WW2, some would say that is unjust. One can find something about each President on Mt. Rushmore to complain about and be correct about that specific complaint.

This headline is a bit unfair. To be fair, he mentions a number of groups but it makes better headlines isolating Jews and minorities. That said, he did mention it and that has to be noted. I personally believe Trump is compromised and everyone knows it, including his hard core support but they have accepted it as part of the package.
