If there was a secret ballot Trump would be toast. Let that sink in.

The questions Republicans in government, that desire a future for themselves, have to ask are: "Vote Trump out because I am brave enough to get rid of criminal?", or "Stick by Trump and hope like hell, he'd gets back in in 2020?".

Any one who draws any inference from the Boris Johnson win in the UK, is on a losing streak. It must be remembered the Boris, for all his clownish mess, has an education, reads, and apparently has no need to resort to criminality.

I like Melania actually. She didn't want the spotlight at all. She wanted to live a life of luxury with her anchor baby and my guess is fear that her life as an escort wouldn't be revealed as First Lady but people aren't speaking on that elephant in the room and credit to Liberals who have spared her when Michelle Obama got criticized by Christians who looked the other way at Melania's porn past but got on Michelle for bare arms.

America is a great country in a lot of respects when a woman can go from east Europe, having to do what ever it takes on the way up the ladder, including sex with whom ever and become first lady. Just like how Michelle went from working class roots to first lady. So, America has some redeeming qualities. I think its great that can happen. I am not ashamed of Melania's past anymore than the fundamentalist Christians are. Its a good advertisement for America actually.

But she is in a tough spot. She has taken on cyberbullying as her cause celeb and her husband is one of the worst violators.

Republican governor Bevins on his way out of office has pardoned rapists, child molestors, murderers. I have a very real fear of who Trump will pardon on his way out. I've seen a variety of questionable pardons by the elder Bush, Clinton, Dubya and pardons Obama didn't do.

I advocate a constitution amendment that says the Congress can overturn presidential pardons if 3/4 of the House and 2/3 of the Senate object to it. I think that is a big enough hurdle and it would be a mandate.

Kushner is deep in the red after buying 666 5th Avenue and he owes so much if he defaults it bankrupts him. He's been trying to get anyone, the Chinese, Oligarchs, Arabs to buy it or loan him money. And this is the man who is the chief advisor and also go to guy in the administration. https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2019/02/qatar-666-5th-ave-jared-kushner

I applaud Trump for the intent. He is the first President since China's rise to make getting a more balanced trade with China a priority. The issue is Trump has zero execution. He goes about important issues without any planning, knee jerk and no sense of strategy and that is what happened with China and the boycotts. Any person who took Econ 101 (and he slept through it at Wharton one of, if not, the best undergraduate business school in America) would tell him his strategy would make things worse. China has the advantage in any trade boycott.
