Steve Posted June 9, 2011 Report Share Posted June 9, 2011 My understanding was that the warrant was looking for evidence of fraud. Apparantly the loan people had reason to believe she defrauded them for the money. Doesn't excuse the SWAT though. I assume that they do some background on whomever they serve warrants on. No criminal history. No evidence of prior violent acts. It all appears to be your atypical working family. Lets go in guns blazing anyway. Where is the common sense in all this? Is the SWAT team that bored? Is this anything a couple officers can't do visiting the home, at a reasonable time, like a Saturday afternoon, explaining the warrant. Is it that stupid back in the home soil these days? This is silly beyond words, and so dangerous and fascistic as to be reason for some serious revolution.
