Transparency and a non-biased government.

Obummer had the least transparency but now, ohhhhhhh, we have to pile on Trump! WTF....what a bunch of hypocritical clowns...Obummer, OK for him...Trump. nope can't do...

You learn from mistakes and history....or you ignore mistakes and history...we can see how you roll...

No one is saying is okay for Obama. I have zero issues with going after him now but if you are going to do that, then it means Trump has to go as well. But you and others won't. You have the power to stop a full on investigation of Trump. Republicans run the country right now. Literally.

And the fact that Republicans aren't pursuing these Obama crimes means its either a. there is nothing there or anything that will stand up to any means. b. Republicans have no balls or c. Plenty of Republicans including Trump doing similar or worse and they know if they do this, its mutually assured destruction.

It's not the deep state or any other BS. Its one of or a combination of the 3 things I mentioned. Trump campaigned on that. He hates Obama to  his core so its not like he doesn't have the will to do it. He just won't because his people can't find shit. And this Obama thing is passed around right wing blogs and vlogs to keep them fixated on hunting snarks.

I write this not for you Cav, you are married to that view and that won't change. Its the others who reading this who aren't privy to the inner workings of America to the extent you and I are and my be wondering why these Obama crimes are not being prosecuted.

So I have been observing this thread since I’ve come back. There are three people involved in it. Why don’t you guys go private. And by the way, I started this thread, I’m embarrassed what it’s become. I asked KS to delete it but he said he never looks so he doesn’t care but I do. It’s petty like an old woman’s bridge game. Politics are this...anyone can can do the same shitty job. Stfu.

Hi,

Appreciate your effort in this Perv, but like TheCorithian I do not see this working.

Sanuk!

This was from 10 years ago. Apparently it worked too well. Stop the bullshit. 3 people care. The rest don’t. If someone wants to argue semantics, private me. Otherwise, shut down the back and forth childness. It’s embarrassing for all of you smart people..

I count 4 main participants and rejoinders from several others.

But as has been said, to the folk that don't like the USA thread, don't look.

It's like the fat ugly woman at the party, don't look, or you'll be drawn, into her quest for romance and it's hard to escape.

The TV programme you don't like - change channel.

The food you don't like - don't eat it.

They are saying it could be worse than 2008. This could get ugly.

Not that I'm in a position to play in the housing market, but I did do 4 years, as the stats guy at an organisation in Real Estate, here in NZ and I've been watching the portents and the frogs entrails for some time.

My "obvious tell" is when the marketing foofs and such, start telling everyone how wonderful and expensive every thing is.

And it's a tradition in NZ to always raise the price of real estate,  year on year until the Bank starts knocking on the door.

My prediction? this is the beginning of a depression, that will in 30 years, be known as Great Depression II. Or for those who must abbreviate everything, GD2.

I think so as well. I think the only reason economies haven't crashed as they did in October, 1929 America and whenever it did for other economies like NZ is there is far, far more government interaction these days. We are more interconnected commercially around the world than at ever in human history so economies should be very sensitive to each other. I think its all being propped up in various schemes. Especially in America. QE is just a fancy word for 'we are manipulating the economy so it looks better'.

I also think with this Great Depression II, the ideology of some countries will change with it. America being one. I think it will be far more democratic socialistic. We may see the end of the dollar as the world reserve currency.

NZ seems to be a bit more sober minded in things and I think it will fare a wee bit better than most economies when it happens. I can see the Germans faring okay considering, with that Prussian efficiency they seem to operate under culturally. I've read Singapore is where we will see a depression handled best in Asia.

A lot of money will be made if you a. are debt free or very little debt. b. have cash on hand and/or access to credit and c. steady income coming in.
