Usa Thread

There will come a point. When the US government as well as certain states, if not all, will be forced due to circumstances (violence) to actively and openly fight against these folks. As much as a Trump run FBI and Justice department tried, they could not find evidence of a large scale, organized leftist, Antifa or BLM plot, etc. And as admitted as much.

But they do see the far right as a viable, ongoing and dangerous threat. We just witnessed it and there will be more. It won't be a successful fight. Why? Because you have at least 75 million people who support them. They know this. They know they can't be fully stopped.

What may happen? My guess is a 3rd party may happen. The far right will start their own party. The far left may do that as well. The progressive wing is growing much more disillusioned with establishment Democrats. We may end up with 3 or 4 parties when all is said and done.

The overtaking of the Capital reminds me of the Soviet Union collapse when Yeltsin climbed on top of a tank and became the new leader. In this case, however, it looked like a half-attempted coup by Trump.  A big mistake on his part.  There will be a price to pay for all involved.  Trump lied as usual (he told the terrorists that he would go there with them) and watched the whole thing on TV, unlike Yeltsin who was in the action on top of a tank.

So absolutely right.       👍    👍    👍

Imagine for a moment, that Trump really was the answer, to 'merica's problems.

He would have led, on a horse à la Putin,  chewing a cigar à la Castro, or as you say,  on a Tank like Yeltsin.

Running away, to hide in the world's most protected place and scarfing cheeseburgers, is exactly what the sane amongst us, expected.
