Why should we keep a thread open to see “What Trump does next?” If I was interested in US politics I would join a US Forum, not green information from a US based Democrats, a Thai based Republican with insignificant comments from New Zealand and Germany. It is not exactly representative of.the actual political situation in the USA. Yes quite right, but what I see, is a place where I can chat about stuff, with people I know. The fact that a bunch of Yankee stuff, that really nearly did, have a huge effect, on all of us, is being discussed here, is as OK, just as if we all wanted to talk about the casinos that are just across the borders of Thailand. The people who are doing the discussion, are the interesting bit, even if it is the discussion of Yankee politics. I think KS said it right, this place is like the local pub, we all like to go there, but I would imagine very few pubs have a narrow view of what's allowed to be discussed inside. Though football aficionado's drinking haunts, maybe the exception to that rule. 3 hours ago, Mekong said: Is Gasoline only used in the US and the rest of the world still using horse and cart. Misleading headline, before you can say that Gasoline is becoming worthless lets look at what gasoline is. It is not a simple product of distillation of Crude Oil but a blend of Hydrocarbon streams from C4, (Butane) through to C12 (Dodecanese), everybody knows C8 Octane. Depending on the refining process different refineries make there products differently, either Straight Run, Reformate, Catalytic Cracked, Hydrocrackate, Alkylate, Isomerate etc and then blend the components and add additives to make MoGas (Motor Gasoline). But the Components of MoGas are not used exclusively in MoGas production, they have thousands of other uses so the components of MoGas extracted from Crude Oil will not become worthless. And as a very ill-educated* person in Chemical matters, Plastics, Bitumen, all manner of Chemicals, good old Tar Soap and Sulphur etc, all come from by products. Not to mention the 'making ugly women acceptable to look at' industry (Makeup). * Bsc Organic and Inorganic Chemistry stage 1, not passed, but some knowledge crops up now and then, if my brain is aligned properly.
